奖学金信息
云原生计算基金会为 KubeCon + CloudNativeCon + Open Source Summit China 2023 提供的奖学金计划旨在支持以下三类个人参会：
多元化
申请人必须来自技术和/或开源社区中传统上被边缘化和/或较少代表的群体，如果没有一定的财务援助，他们将无法参加。包括但不限于：LGBTQIA+、女性、有色人种和/或残疾人士。
需求为基础
申请人应是活跃的社区成员，没有得到公司或组织的资助或赞助，由于财务原因无法参加。
维护者
申请人应是活跃的CNCF项目维护者，没有得到公司或组织的资助或赞助，由于财务原因无法参加。
奖学金将根据需求和影响的综合评估进行授予。奖学金不可转让给其他人或任何其他活动。评审人员将评估每个申请人的请求。申请信息将保密。
奖学金获得者将获得免费注册通行证，参加在中国上海举办的KubeCon + CloudNativeCon + Open Source Summit活动。
旅行资助奖学金获得者最多可获得1,500美元的资助，用于报销实际旅行费用。请注意，报销将在活动后进行，津贴只能用于以下用途：教练列车、公共汽车或机票、酒店/住宿（最多三晚）以及往返机场/火车站/汽车站的交通费用。
请注意：如果您不是居住在中国境内，申请前请务必向当地大使馆了解差旅要求（和申请所需时间）。

Scholarship Information
Cloud Native Computing Foundation’s scholarship program for KubeCon + CloudNativeCon + Open Source Summit China 2023 exists to support individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend in three categories:
Diversity
Applicants must be from traditionally underrepresented and/or marginalized groups in the technology and/or open source communities who are unable to attend without some financial assistance. Including, but not limited to persons identifying as: LGBTQIA+, women, persons of color, and/or persons with disabilities.
Need-Based
Applicants should be active community members who are not being assisted or sponsored by a company or organization, and are unable to attend for financial reasons.
Maintainer
Applicants should be active CNCF project maintainers who are not being assisted or sponsored by a company or organization, and are unable to attend for financial reasons.
Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of need and impact. Scholarships are NOT transferable to another person, or any other event. Selection will be made by reviewers who will assess each applicant’s request. Application information will be kept confidential.
Scholarship recipients will receive a complimentary registration pass to attend KubeCon + CloudNativeCon + Open Source Summit in Shanghai, China.
Travel funding scholarship recipients may receive up to a max of $1,500 USD to reimburse actual travel expenses. Please note that reimbursements are made after the event, and the stipend may only be used for the following: coach train, bus or airfare, hotel / accommodations (up to three nights), and transportation to and from the airport/train/bus station.
Please note: If you do not live in the People’s Republic of China, it is important that you check with your local embassy regarding travel requirements (and timelines) before proceeding with the application.
